Post Hiatus

Yes, it's been more than a little while but I'm not apologizing. Frankly, things have been pretty horrible around me. Not to me, personally - to me things have been fine - but for about 6 weeks there I was surrounded by people suffering all sorts of bad things.

A brutal divorce, brought on by a selfish, selfish man.

Several cancer-scares, all but one have turned out well.

Holiday depressions - the sound of middle-aged people who realize that they have made some pretty bad decisions, and now must live with them. Alone, typically.

So it has been difficult, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things during this mild winter. Within my own four walls, life is grand. The lovely Mrs. According To Rob continues to light up the room with her presence, while the Rob-ettes continue to entertain even as they fight with puberty.

Nothing profound today, but perhaps there's a bit more fire in the belly than there was. We'll see...
